So much rain in ye ol' Melbourne town.

If the weather is like your painting I would say: poor Helen, I feel with you! Would you prefer to stay here with me in the cold? I think last night it was -12° C/10,4°F. Even my little birds get cold feets.

Hmmm... I would prefer rain over the very cold and snow any day!! Sounds like it's a bit extreme in the northern regions. -12 is inconceivable to me!! You'll need to knit some socks for the birds.

Beautiful work! It makes me feel calm and happy :)
I love the rain and I'm just rolling in it :) Even here in Brisbane it's been bucketing - so nice to be in this La Nina cycle after 10 years of El Nino drought ;) Kx

PLEASE draw a bird with socks! I need pattern to get it out right.
I'm really laughing visualizing my birds with thick knittet socks. Haha!

some days that cloud follows me about. Luckily not too often. Great painting.

Barbara, I may have to make that a project!
Kylie, calm and happy is great! I have been enjoying the rain a lot, watching Melbourne replenish from a couple of years of severe heat damage. And thunder is particularly fabulous.
Lovely World, I do know that feeling too. I'm pleased it's not too often for you. I do find that clouds and rain can be good for the soul sometimes.
Gracey, thank you. I love that you have that image of yourself!

I love this painting! I feel like I could write a whole story just looking at it (and I don't even write stories). I love clouds with personality. :-)

Hi Susan, I think it's time to launch your writing or poetry career! I look forward to reading the first draft!
And thanks so much La casita and dear gretchenmist. Hmmm... Wednsedays and Saturdays, I'll add that little insight to my weekly observations! Maybe rain doesn't like days of the weeks that take too long to spell?! ;-)

Thank you Maria! We've had big clouds on many many days recently. So much rain for this time of the year.
